Kira + Darcy

Kira & Darcy’s wedding seemed effortlessly exceptional. It was both laid-back and meaningful, hilarious and heartfelt, raucous and ceremonious. The entire day felt like genuine celebration of their life and love. The bike parade from Wolseley to Leo Mol sculpture garden was nothing short of spectacular. It was an assembly of 50 or so friends and family parading through the streets and leaving a trail good tidings behind them.

Married by Darcy’s sister, the ceremony was lovely. Even as a light rain began to fall as they exchanged vows, the old adage of it being good luck for it to rain on your wedding day seem to ring especially true. The reception that followed at the Qualico Centre was in keeping with the flow of the day. Happiness and hugs and high-fives all around.

The uniqueness of this wedding was truly such a dream to photograph. Every moment of the day felt genuine. Everything that should matter on a wedding day… did. We are so grateful to have been welcomed into the fold of Kira & Darcy’s wedding day. It was an exquisite day and we hope our photographs are proof of our gratitude to be chosen to capture it all.
