emily & james tulum mexico

We have said before, that the world is at once both small & grand. We marvel how we, from Wintery Winnipeg, become connected to people from out of the blue and faraway lands. Kismet, fate, whatever you want to call it, but it seems luck is always with us - and not just only in name.  

Emily and James hail from Raleigh, North Carolina. They found us by way of winding through a destination wedding forum and saw the work we did for the eternally cool Katy + Mikee. Emily composed a dream email to us that consisted of sentiments such as praise for the work, implicit trust in our ability, and instinct that we would be a great fit. Right she was! Flights were booked, plans hatched and we set out to return to magical town of Tulum, Mexico.

How grateful we were to be back at Cabanas Tulum and to be warmly welcomed by Emily, James and their friends and family. Cabanas Tulum (aka: Ziggy Beach) is a superb location for nuptials and photographically speaking, inspiration is around every corner. (Katy ended up doing the decor for them as well.) These two were mellow, gracious and wonderfully at ease with all the happiness that surrounded them.
